Winter 2022-23 classes include:
Sunday, December 11: All About the New Digital SAT. 12:20-1 PM EST.
For parents, educators, and students in grades 8-10.
Starting with the class of 2025 (current sophomores), students will take a brand new digital SAT and PSAT. The new test will be adaptive and structured differently, making certain old SAT prep methods out of date. Learn about the best ways to prepare in this webinar. (If you are a US-based junior or senior, this does not affect you.)
NOTE: For international students who will be taking the SAT outside of the US, the new SAT will begin in SPRING 2023 (just a few months away)!
Wednesday, December 28. SAT Practice Test and Detailed Explanations. 12-1 PM EST.
Whether you’re taking the new digital SAT or the old pencil-and-paper version, this SAT practice test session will help you develop your test-taking skills. Students will complete an official SAT section, followed by detailed answer explanations and Q&A.
Wednesday, January 25. SAT Crash Course. 6-7:30 PM EST. Sponsored by the Philadelphia Free Library.
Question 1: What’s the difference between a comma and a semicolon?
Question 2: What math strategies are most important on the SAT?
Get ready for the SAT and PSAT with this ever-popular course that goes way past the basics.
In-Person in Delaware and New Jersey:
Wednesday, February 1. SAT Crash Course at the Bear Library (Delaware). 5-8 PM.
If you’re serious about preparing for the SAT (or PSAT), this is the class for you. With three hours of content, this class will teach you all the best strategies for the Math, Reading, and Writing sections. Although the learning will be pretty serious, expect a few games to keep you awake! There will be plenty of time to ask questions, too.
